FARNAZ ARBABI
STAGE DIRECTOR AND PLAYWRIGHT
Farnaz Arbabi is an award-winning stage director and playwright, based in Stockholm, Sweden. She studied directing at Stockholm University of the Arts and has directed at theaters in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. Her plays have toured internationally. A frequent lecturer and workshop leader, she also writes for magazines and newspapers.
Arbabi is currently the Artistic Director of Unga Klara in Stockholm.

Schools for taming strong women aren’t too far off these days, in the age of tradwives and soft girls, Love is Blind marathons and a secret lust for just the right (or wrong?) amount of Fifty Shades of Grey spanking.
All in freshly written blank verse! With clowns! Dancing! Music! Oh, and there will also be true love and smoldering passion!
