Farnaz Arbabi is an award winning Swedish stage director and playwright who often stages stories about identity, migration, exile and power. She studied directing at Stockholm university of the arts and is a renowned theatre director and playwright . She has directed at theaters in Sweden, Denmark and Germany and her plays have toured all over the world. She is a frequent lecturer and workshop leader at theatre schools, theatres and universites in and outside of Sweden. She also writes for various magazines and newspapers. Farnaz Arbabi is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where she currently holds the position as Artistic Director at Unga Klara.
